Busy setting up new membership site
May be some of you have been wandering why this blog is not updated for almost two months.
It has been exhausting months for me from early November last year. I’ve been working and trying hard to get my new membership site up and running with a new membership script. Gooosh.. the script is so powerful but the learning curve is taking away a lot of my time.
The due date for site completion was over but the site is not fully ready. I still need to write the sales copy and get a few more graphics. Luckily all the script plugins are in place and I’m begining to understand how the whole script work… but the members products still need quite some time to be uploaded and some description of each product need to be ready in hand.
It seems the products upload will be tedious because I’m getting new products every two days. It filling up my hard drive very fast.
The time for lauch need to be deferred because I still need to test every download links and all membership functions. I just cannot test the site alone - I need someone to help me to do the site tests. Membership functions such as,
- Member’s JV Offer
- Member’s product offer
- Member product submission
- Member article submission
really need to be tested. I was wandering who will help me in testing these functions.
Suddenly I just thought why not offer it to Beta Testers to dry-run the site and in return reward them with free or lower membership fee. I think this is a good idea.
